Adam Salomon is an Associate Attorney at Dawda PLC. His practice focuses on corporate law, real estate, and taxation. Adam graduated Summa Cum Laude from Michigan State University College of Law in 2024, ranking 9th in his class of 218 students. During his time at MSU Law, he distinguished himself academically, earning Jurisprudence Awards (highest grade) in eight courses, including Basic Income Taxation, Corporate Income Taxation, Constitutional Law II, Professional Responsibility, Pretrial II, Secured Transactions, Sales and Leases, and Contract Drafting.

While in law school, Adam participated in the Alvin L. Storrs Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic and The Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute, where he gained valuable practical experience. He served as a law clerk for the Michigan Tax Tribunal, where he drafted orders for Principal Residence Exemptions, summarized hearings, and expanded his knowledge of Michigan property taxation.

Prior to law school, Adam earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business in 2021. Katie L. Ringler is an Associate at Dawda PLC. She concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, probate, and taxation. Kate partners with her colleagues to ensure all aspects of her clients’ affairs have been considered, including real estate and business matters.

Kate has significant experience in administration matters after the death of a loved one, helping fiduciaries through the estate administration process. She assists with the transfer of assets, filing of tax returns, and overall implementation of the decedent’s estate plan.

Prior to joining Dawda, Kate worked at a large international bank where she advised the line of businesses on fiduciary responsibilities and compliance matters. She is well-versed in all aspects of trust administration and uses her experience to better protect her clients’ interests.

Kate received her L.L.M. in Taxation from Northwestern University, and her Juris Doctor degree and Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Carolina. Richard Schloss is a Member with Dawda PLC. Prior to receiving his law degree, Richard practiced accounting and was also an IRS Field Agent auditing many different types of business. As a result of this experience, Richard brings to the practice of law an understanding of how finances and taxes affect clients and their day-to-day decisions. His practice focuses on small to mid-tier family businesses and practices for whom he acts as their general counsel.

Richard brings a wealth of knowledge to many areas because of his years of practice.

Marc K. Salach’s corporate practice involves corporate, partnership, and limited liability company formation and structuring, as well as the preparation of the requisite governance documents. In addition, he counsels clients on mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, asset purchase and sale transactions, and stock purchase and sale transactions. He prepares and negotiates financing agreements, employment agreements, and equity ownership transition agreements. He has extensive experience representing a variety of clients in private equity transactions including private securities offerings. Marc’s corporate practice also involves the representation of automotive dealerships in acquisition, sale, and financing transactions. These areas call upon his extensive experience in the laws and regulations governing the operation of automotive dealerships, including state franchise laws.

Marc’s real estate practice involves counseling clients in a wide range of matters, including commercial property acquisitions and dispositions, 1031 like-kind exchanges, and real estate financing transactions. In addition, he counsels clients concerning various real estate development projects, including the development of retail shopping centers. Marc also has experience representing landlords and tenants and has drafted and negotiated commercial leases for office and retail space.

He also counsels clients in all aspects of federal, state and local taxation, and formulates the tax structure of mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, and the restructuring of debt and equity interests in a variety of industries. Jeffrey D. Moss is a Member of Dawda PLC. He concentrates his legal practice in the areas of tax law, estate planning, business transactions, tax exempt non-profit matters, and real estate transactions. He is also co-chair of the Corporate Practice Group and chair of the Business Development Committee for the Firm.

In Jeffrey’s tax practice, he counsels companies and their owners, individuals and fiduciaries, and beneficiaries regarding tax planning, estate and succession planning, asset protection and tax compliance. Jeffrey uses these skills to counsel functional and dysfunctional businesses in business transition and succession planning matters.

Jeffrey’s corporate practice involves structuring and handling mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, asset purchase and sale transactions, stock purchase and sale transactions, liquidations, recapitalizations, and related transactions. He also has a subspecialty of advising and representing inbound foreign subsidiary corporations.

Jeffrey also has many physician and medical practitioner clients and is actively involved in issues confronting medical professionals, including practice formation and separation, buy-sell agreements, employment agreements, estate planning and asset protection solutions, creation of limited liability companies, and other issues related to the medical and healthcare areas.

He also has experience in international tax planning, choice of entity, and other tax-advantage structures. Mr. Moss has experience with IRS controversies including the Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program, and is admitted to practice in front of the IRS and in U.S. Tax Court. He also consults on renewable energy tax credits and Michigan solar panel taxation.

In the nonprofit area, Jeffrey handles the formation and qualification of entities as tax exempt under federal tax law for charitable purposes under IRS § 501(c)(3). He also represents many real estate professionals in acquisitions, sales, leasing, syndications, and tax-deferred 1031 transactions.

For his article titled “Solar Panels, Tax Incentives and Your House,” published by the ABA’s Property & Probate Magazine in January 2010, he was honored with a 2010 Excellence in Writing Award. The article was named the magazine’s Best Cutting Edge Article of 2010. Jeffrey has written many other articles and presentations, and is a frequent speaker and presenter including to the State Bar of Michigan Tax Section.

Since 2013, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Yad Ezra, a public charity. Beginning in 2018, Jeffrey has been an Executive Board Member and served as Treasurer and Vice President. Beginning January 2025, Jeffrey will serve a 2-year term as President of Yad Ezra.

Jeffrey earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1993 and his LLM in Taxation from Wayne State University Law School in 1999. He received his B.A., with honors, from the James Madison College at Michigan State University in 1990.

Glenn’s expertise in these areas is extensive, emphasizing sound, practical advice, and creativity. He tailors his planning advice to each client’s specific situation to obtain the client’s goals and objectives, considering business succession concerns, family dynamics, the impact on the family now and in the future, and the tax consequences of the planning options available. He advises clients in planning both simple and complex estates, using wills, powers of attorney, patient advocate designations, lifetime gifting, various revocable and irrevocable trusts, charitable giving, family limited liability companies, shareholder agreements, and other various estate planning options and techniques.

Glenn also has considerable experience in post-death administration matters, including the administration of estates and trusts, and related tax advice. He assists family members to help them understand the administration process, the documents involved, and post-death estate planning opportunities.

Glenn advises fiduciaries in their responsibilities and duties in the administration of probate and trust estates, both related to tax issues and carrying out the terms of the estate plan. As part of his practice, he also ensures that the various required filings and tax returns are properly prepared and filed with the appropriate authorities on a timely basis.

Glenn’s knowledge of tax law is an integral part of his estate planning expertise. He advises clients on estate, gift, and generation skipping tax issues and related income tax issues.

He earned his J.D. from Wayne State University in 1985 and his LL.M. in taxation from Wayne State University in 1990. He received his B.S. from Oakland University in 1982.
